OVER 40 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE

Gormac Coachworks is the oldest coachworks in Renfrewshire. Now in our 40th year, the company attributes its success to a long standing principal - to provide quality and service.

The company constantly strive to improve in every area of the business. Self-assessment procedures, originally introduced as part of the Investors in People programme, assist management and staff to establish and review standards and procedures which act as the yardstick to measure the company’s performance. Gordon McIntyre, along with his wife Myra started the business in 1972 and Gormac is now run by Graham, Michelle, Gillian and Steven; who lead a team of professionally trained tradesmen who are committed to the belief that “the customer is king”.

Over the past three decades we have established a reputation for excellence - and attention to detail.

Investment in people is not the whole story. Continuous upgrading and investment in state-of-the-art equipment has assisted the company in achieving their goals. Recently Gormac extended its premises to house a Spraybake oven large enough to accommodate LCV’s and other medium sized vehicles and installed the latest Car-o-Liner jigging equipment.

Responding to customers’ needs is an important element of the business and Gormac will continue to develop its range of services and equipment in line with customers’ requirements.

Equally, responding to environmental issues has been a prime concern and Gormac have adopted practices and use materials which deliver the highest possible level of environmental friendliness.
